Welcome to all NPE 2003 Attendees & Exhibitors!

Once again, thank you for taking the time to visit our booth at McCormick Place in Chicago. At the show, we were able to demonstrate our ability to print high quality offset labels on OPP film compatible with the injection mold labeling process.

We discovered that there was an incredible amount of interest in this process since molders are now upgrading with robotics to decorate their products with printed labels rather than with pad or dry offset printing. The quality of such labels is unmatchable.

Request for Quotation
If you are interested in obtaining a price quotation for your labeling project, here is the information that we would need:

  • Size of Container
  • Dimensions of the printed label
A die line supplied by your mold manufacturer is essential. Only your die maker can provide a fully accurate template, allowing for nominal film shrinkage and optimum registration. (See sample)
  • Number of colors to be printed
We have the capability of printing up to eight colors and coating in one pass.
  • Substrate
OPP films are available in clear and white opaque, with high gloss or matte finish.
  • Weight of substrate
Most injection mold projects call for OPP films ranging from 57 microns to 75 microns in thickness.
  • Annual Quantity
  • Average run size
  • How will the artwork be presented?
A brief description of the software that was used to create the electronic files and what medium the art will be presented on. Is the artwork curved to the correct radius? If not, General Press can perform this service.
