More than 300 printers and industry suppliers from around the greater Delaware Valley flocked to the Crystal Tea Room in the Wanamaker Building Thursday, May 3rd for the 36th annual Neographics awards gala sponsored by the Graphic Arts Association (GAA).

General Press, Natrona Heights, PA, beat out nearly 400 entries to capture the coveted Power of Print award for printing Akzo Nobel's 2007 calendar. The calendar was designed by Steve Mobley.

2003 Premier Print Awards

2002 WPPA Awards
In 2002, General Press was awarded the "Judges Award" by the Western Pennsylvania Printing Association for a patriotic poster produced after the 9/11 attacks on America (see left). A copy of this poster is available upon request. This Judges Award is the highest level of recognition at this annual event. In addition, General Press won seven "Best of Category" and thirty two Honorable Mentions.

1993 Premier Print Awards
General Press is a past recipient of the Printing Industries of America "Premier Print Awards," also know as the "Bennys." We received this very prestigious award in 1993 for a booklet commemorating the opening of the new Greater Pittsburgh International Airport (see above right).
